This unit shows the importance of planning of a lesson and although some people may only need to jot down a few ideas, other teachers will need a more comprehensive lesson plan. Not only does it allow the teacher clear guide as to what is happening it also provides information for other teachers to follow should you be unavailable but it also gives a good indication on what was covered should any teacher need to refer to it somewhere in the future. The information it contains creates a steady flow for the lesson however it shouldn't be followed strictly as students might be gaining a better grasp of certain content and having fun. A good unit for me as it shows the specifics required to plan a lesson but also reinforces the need to be flexible
