I learned about modal and phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. I realized that a good grasp of verb tenses is vital to be able to properly use the passive voice and to be able to change a sentence from active voice to passive voice. This is an area of grammar where I automatically know what is correct, but in studying it, I realize how complicated it seems, and it must be even more complicated and hard to grasp for those learning it as a new language.
