There are many key factors in what constitutes being a good teacher and a good learner. Both teacher and student have responsibilities in the learning process; teachers in being knowledgeable, approachable, sensitive, and helpful; and students in being open and active participants. Being aware which teaching style is appropriate and when to use it is critical for generating and maintaining student interest, and providing support. I found that the unit provided excellent nuance into teaching styles and student learning levels that will help me assess, plan, and execute future classes.
