Not easy at all, time challenging and consuming, but worth all the effort is my opinion on planning. I'm big on planning for regular activities and like everything to go as planned or at least have things settled, which can be against me. In my teaching experience I've always had guidance so I wasn't the one doing the planning, just following instructions given then it was easy to go with the flow and find out what worked best in the student-teacher dynamic, therefore, that would help me be flexible and flow with finding the balance to get the students comfortable in the learning experience. I actually look forward to planning my lessons because I can definitely see it as a tool, especially when you're a beginner.
