I wish I would have known all this information when I was doing community work for college, it would have helped a lot, but I learned and it was fun doing what I like. The most important part for me was learning how to control behavior issues because everything else comes easier and depends on us as teachers just learning the craft, so to speak, but controlling someone's behavior is more personal, it takes time, interest, patience and love; that is why, the two aspects I found super relevant were respect, earning and giving it and establishing rapport, because if there's trust, there's comfort and that creates a great environment to learn and to teach.
