There's no correct or wrong way of teaching a lesson, in my opinion, as long as you create the environment that allows a natural way of engaging and practicing the language.
The best thing is to find what works for you and the students; students are suppose to be comfortable and so is the teacher, taking into consideration factors like culture, skills, level and so on.
Always remember to be positive and allow the students to learn on their own as much as possible, you should help by encouraging them in the process of building themselves.
