Very interesting unit dealing with testing and evaluating students, the different tests available, to the external tests such as TOEFL and TOEIC. Evaluating students before placing them in an English course is so important these days, and testing students to measure their progress and improvement has become such an essential part of the students' learning and progress. Placement tests to measure grammar skills, vocabulary and use of proper verb tenses have become a standard practice over the years and is one of best tools to measure a student's true level, although an oral test would measure the student's pronunciation and fluency.
