Very helpful unit to something that is extremely important, which is the course book and even supplements and workbooks. Authentic material plays a key role in getting the students interested on a certain topic, and even to make the class more lively and a topic that is relevant in everyday living. Of course, created material also comes in very handy at times, like flashcards, crosswords and role-play cards to get students involved and serves to make the class more entertaining and practical and fun. But the main source or material in the end is the course book, which is not usually chosen by the teacher, but it is in effect the main source or use in the classroom. Teachers cannot or should not only work with it, but should provide other material or supplements to make the class more interesting and useful.
