Whilst I have studied transitive and intransitive verbs along with relative clauses in my studies of my own second language, the application of their use in English is EXTREMELY different. Unfortunately, this means analysing their application to specific contexts will have to be learnt at an individual level and there is no trick to translate my existing learning.
I do still struggle with thoroughly understanding the differences between phrasal verbs. I find the concept of separability hard to see at first, however I do hope this will improve with practice.
