Whilst this topic definitely does come more naturally than past and present tenses, I will still need to devote time to creating my own rules and pneumonics to remember the differences between tenses. I think its really hard for a native speaker to deconstruct a sentence and understand when the action will occur; ie. whether it is continuous in the future of finite. I hope this will come with more practice. I think it will be interesting to see, as something we take for granted, how important a base this will form to the study of English in a classroom context.
