The different types and stages of tests seem to be more like checkpoints and footing on how to move forward. Diagnostic testing gives a nice idea of where to start and the progress tests help keep track where students are in the course. Extremely useful unit, would also be nice for a new teacher to kinda briefly show how to space these tests and a rough outline for when and how to perform these tests.
