This unit does bring up a very interesting thing that I would assume lots of people don't think about because being a native speaker they never had a need to think about it. That is, the amount of which context plays in our understanding of something being read or listened to.
Having taught English in another country for a while now, it was a difficult transition from just explain the meaning of words to explaining the context that word is used in and when certain words and phrases should be used. I think this lesson is very important because it needs to be understood by all language teachers.
