The teaching techniques for vocabulary teaching were particularly useful especially the methods involved through the Engage, study and activate stages. When introducing a new word it is important engage the students in its meaning, how it is used, its grammatical form and how it is said and written. It was good to revisit the techniques for practicing language structures (initially covered in unit 2) and the different types of grammar lessons which can be implemented to best teach the learning objective.
