This unit was focused on a brief overview of the reasons for and methods of evaluation and assessment of students. It gave a good review of the different external examinations available and which type of exam a student might choose to sit, along with some of the disadvantages of the exams. From the teacher's point of view it covered the different internal tests that are useful in both initially placing and then monitoring student's progress.
