In this unit it talked about how to use the materials and books.
It helps you understand how to use authentic materials in a classroom.
Also the created material. There is a difference which is how to prepare a lesson from the book and how to use it. Sometimes you might not want to use what the books give you. Also it tell you that sometimes you can use your own worksheets and not everything in the book gives examples.
So what I think it's saying that the books are useful but also it's useful to create your own materials .
