This lesson covered tests and the reason for giving them in school and what external exams an EFL teacher might need to help prepare a student for. This went over many of the external exams such as TOEFL, PET, and ESOL Skills for life, as well as what type of placement tests may be appropriate and what you may need to use a diagnostic test for within the classroom. This lesson helps to break down the different types of tests into more manageable pieces and allows one to look at what might be necessary with different age groups.
