This unit covered the various ways to discuss the future in English. There are more ways to describe the future than most people realize; according to the unit, the future is one of the more complicated areas of speaking English. There are at least seven commonly-used ways to describe the future, such as the four main future tenses (simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous, as with the other tenses), as well as uses of other tenses to describe the future.
