The unit gave a helpful overview of different learners. I had many surprises when I first went from teaching highschool students to junior primary students. While I was more conscientious of differences when going back to teach highschool, my teaching style was largely affected by my few years in the lower years, which brought an occasional comment from the older students. I do believe it's very important to know one's learners, and then to make content and activities relevant to them.
