There are four basic skills in any language. Whenever possible, we should integrate all four skills in our lessons. However, we can target more on one particular skill at a time. This unit focuses on the receptive skills: reading and writing. The unit breaks down the reasons for reading and listening. Furthermore, it introduces special skills we need for reading. The unit introduces good samples as to what activities to introduce for Engage, Study, and Activate stages.
