I fully understand why this is a hard subject for ESL students! It is a hard subject for me and I realize that in colloquial speech native users often make many mistakes or use different mixed conditionals and also probably use incorrect forms of reported speech. The unit covered conditional forms and usage and reported speech. It included useful charts and ideas for teaching the different forms of speech. I particularly liked the "games" for using the conditional tenses and also appreciated the explanations of the different forms of the conditionals. Thank you.
