In this unit, I learnt about productive skills- speaking and writing, and their purpose in communication. I learnt about the reasons why people communicate, the difference between accuracy and fluency activities. The reasons for students' reluctance to speak in the classroom and what mist be done to overcome this reluctance was also learnt.
Finally, I learnt about the techniques to encourage interaction and the guidelines for a free and creative speaking activity.
