The unit provided a good overview of the benefits of lesson planning, while touching on the dangers of relying to heavily on such. I found it good to revisit this, post teaching. It was refreshing in reiterating the aims and benefits of planning. It was also freeing as I’ve come back to it, and seen clearer its practical purpose is not just to create work, but a tool to focus and improve teaching and learning.
