It was interesting to learn about the ESA methodology in this unit. Engage, Study, Activate seems like a versatile system that can be adapted to a variety of class sizes and levels. I liked the examples of variations on the technique, such as "straight arrow," boomerang," and "patchwork" which were provided in this unit. Most interesting in this unit were the various activities listed as appropriate for each stage, especially the games listed in the Activate stage. These will prove quite useful and fun in class, I'm sure!
