This until was very very useful as it helped me to distinguish between the different forms of the past tense. Specifically, the difference between the past continuous and the past perfect continuous tense. Additionally, the information regarding irregular verbs helped me a lot. Many times a student will ask for a rule or explanation for every change or difference between conjugating certain verbs. Knowing that the irregular verbs must simply be memorized is a big relief which I can now easily explain to students.
