It was helpful to be encouraged to be flexible when approaching a lesson plan, yet still adhering to a lesson plan. This balance, I believe, will be one to practice over and over, and will be different with every class. Some quieter groups may prefer more study time, however, encouraging engagement will be ever more pertinent to their language growth in the classroom setting so they have practice orally speaking. It is a good reminder to write a self-evaluation at the end of a lesson to clearly state what can be improved for future lessons.
