When it comes to past and future tenses I believe it is quite difficult to explain. Even for native speakers or speakers that have similar languages and representation of times like Spanish. I think it would be a good idea to, not only explain the tenses like it is shown in the unit, but also with a visual characteristic such as a time table or a time graph. I think it can improve the perception of past for different cultures such as the Japanese, Chinese, etc.
