This unit covered a variety of 'in-school' tests and evaluation. I found that I appreciated the brief overview of external tests as many students take English language courses for a reason, be it for obtaining a job, a promotion, a uni offering, citizenship, permanent residency, etc. Knowing the direction students are going with their language learning means that the teacher prepare material more appropriately.
