This was a great lesson and I enjoyed learning the advantages and disadvantages of using created material as opposed to course books. I can see that there is a place for pre-written course material as well as a necessity for some created material that will add some variety and excitement to each lesson. I remember being in school and finding most text books a little boring. I always enjoyed having a class where the teacher put some time and effort into finding other relevant material that made the coursework more understandable and memorable.
I do still struggle a little with figuring out the lessons and what part of each lesson is engage, activate, study, etc. I hope that gets a little easier with time.
