It is interesting how I never really put much thought into conditionals, mainly because I grew up learning English so I guess they always just came ‘naturally’. I can see how someone new to English would need a good understanding of them. Also knowing an official breakdown of conditionals makes some parts of English easier to teach … why some forms of phrasing are appropriate and why some are not, even though they technically get the point across.
