Because I have worked in education for the past 17 years this was reassuringly familiar for me. Lesson planning is essential to successful teaching and, as I have had to do on many occasions, flexibility and adapting is paramount. The examples given are really useful and easy to put into practice. The section about moderating my lessons is very useful...in teaching we learn something new every time we teach!
