One of the most important principles, in my opinion, is to help students learn vocabulary in context. This means that in order for students to learn new vocabulary and internalize it, it is important that it be presented in a way that is meaningful to the student. As one of the major parts of grammar and language learning, the teaching of vocabulary is of extreme importance in the foreign language classroom and there are many ways this important concept can be taught effectively in the modern day classroom.
