This Unit was very informative on the two types of productive skills: Writing and speaking. From the unit it is thought that the speaking skills must have a purpose in communicating and if those reasons are not present then the student will not be interested in completing the task. It also points out that speaking activities can be divided into two further categories of accuracy and fluency. Accuracy is meant to hone in on the language in a controlled manner, while fluency is meant to evoke the language and teach the flow of the language in a relaxed manner. The writing skills pointed mostly to how your handwriting, spelling and punctuation can have an effect on the reader and how they interpret the written information. It was a very informative unit in how games can be implemented and how to get the students excited to use the productive skills.
