This unit was interesting as I had not given much thought on picking out a textbook, since the one I will be using is already chosen for me by the language institute. I was a journalist for my university’s news publication. I did think that perhaps I could gather a few to take with me when I move to China, I could use them in my lessons as most of my students are looking to continue their studies in the US. It would give them a taste of student life in the US while boosting their language skills.
