This unit outlines the different forms of past tense; past perfect continuous, past perfect, past continuous and past simple. This unit tells what these different forms are, how they are used and what some common student mistakes are to watch out for. This unit also gives suggestions for activities to do with the students in order to practice each of these different forms. Example sentences are provided as well so to demonstrate the different forms in use. I think this unit is helpful for me as a native English speaker because I use all these past tense forms but I was not aware of the distinctions between them.
