This unit focused on describing the many differnt types of present tenses and their useages. For example, with the current system of breaking down tenses the present tense has 4 forms. Simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. Learning the useages and rules for these 4 forms has allowed me to be able to better understand the mistakes students make and improve my techniques for teaching them the rules. I found the teaching ideas to be very useful for creating better lesson plans for these topics.
