This unit describes the advantages and disadvantages of course book material. The use of authentic and created materials is also explained. These need to have a balance so students can gain confidence while seeing actual things they would see when visiting a English speaking country. This unit also covers how to choose your course book and the options in using a course book. I believe a course book should be used loosely that way it does not interfere with the creativity or the interest of the class.
