This unit is very important to me. Right now I am trying to learn French with the help of a tutor and I've learned through a friend that if I know how to start sentences in past, present, and future, I'll be able to speak a lot more in French. So too for students that I will be teaching. Their world of English speaking will be opened greatly when they know how to speak in the past comfortably. I like the "activate teaching" samples given. They made me think of what I fun and exciting things I can do in my own classroom to help students discover things on their own.
