This unit demonstrates how the way that a lesson is conducted can affect the outcome of the lesson. It shows two very different attitudes in both the teacher and the students due to the delivery and approach of the teacher. The contrast in the two lessons shows that establishing a good rapport with students and simple body language gestures such as smiling can drastically change the whole outcome or success of a lesson. The second lesson is a good demonstration of how well elicitation can be used as a technique for class participation and progress as well as getting everyone involved and using the language.
