After watching the two videos it is very clear that the mood and first meeting between the teacher and their students are vital in setting the overall mood of the class. From personal experience teaching kindergarten for almost 10 years now the energy level in a class of adults and a class of children is completely different. Of course with adults finding the balance between respectful and expressing concepts is more important. Most important things from the video lessons are; be positive, happy and encouraging toward your students to not damage their self-confidence. It was clear that the teacher in the second lesson was much more positive and the students reacted to that energy.
