This unit covered classroom management. It talked about the importance of eye contact, gesturing, and tone of voice, how to use them and how they each can impact a classroom greatly. When talking about the tone a teacher should speak, the document mentioned somewhere about introverts and extroverts. It read something along the lines of "you don't have to be an extrovert to be a good teacher" or rather. I thought this tid-bit was especially interesting because I am one who would actually consider myself to be an introvert, however I was reminded during the reading of this unit that that's not really an issue. As long as the teacher can maintain tones that keep his/her students engaged, alert, excited and in attention, being an introverted person at heart doesn't have a negative effect on the class at all. Furthermore, class arrangement and ideas for giving clear instruction and maintaining a certain rapport were listed in the document. Overall, the key to all of this is to keep things simple. There is no reason to over-complicate any situation.
