In this Unit I learned about the modalities of the Past tense, its usage in the sentence structure, common mistakes that student make. Unlike other languages, English has 3 modalities in each tense, that sum up to 9 modalities for all. This can be heard to comprehend at first for the non-native speaker, however, once the basic rules are understood, it becomes increasingly easy to manage it and structure sentences correctly. The assessment was very helpful as well.
