I learned in this unit that understanding how to teach vocabulary is not only based on grammar rules. It reaches further beyond that and into recognizing the difficulty in language vocabulary is knowing what level your audience is at. Often times when teaching you can misuse language that a student won't understand, and therefore don't fully absorb the lesson taught. Using the methods of Engage, Study and Activate can help to garner the correct approach in teaching.
