The two videos featured in this unit display real-life applications of the teaching methods studied so far, such as the ESA stages and ways of building rapport and maximising student talk time. More importantly, they show the negative consequences of excessive teacher talk time and disinterest or condescension (on the part of the teacher), which only hinder the students' progress and should be avoided. I feel that it has motivated me to pay much more attention to my relationship with my students.
