This unit provided videos that clearly illustrated the difference between a successful lesson and one that needs improvement. Overall, the teacher's attitude proved to be the deciding factor of the effectivity of the class. The teacher featured in the second lesson exhibited a balanced mix of organization and improvisation: he was able to keep his students engaged and participative while giving them many opportunities to learn and apply their knowledge. I especially appreciated the teacher's calm but upbeat and encouraging disposition and the level of variety he implemented throughout the second lesson. He proved that it is possible to challenge your students to do work smart while still maintaining a comfortable learning environment.
