The comparison of two lessons demonstrates the presumption that "a 'good teacher' will most likely have 'good students'!" The teacher’s attitude alone could have made the classroom much more engaging for students. In lesson one, the teacher had an attitude issue. The teacher was scowling, did not know names of students nor showed much effort in learning students’ names, and more. The ESA approach seemed to be helpful. But before all that, the attitude of a teacher seemed to have utmost importance. Effectiveness of the ESA method could have been better illustrated if all other variables were the same.
