This unit taught me about different roles, that teachers have to take on and combine, and that with only one or two roles they wouldn't be able to lead a class properly as each activity done in the class requires a different type of role. I was familiar with a few, but wasn't aware there are so many of them.
I also learnt about different sets of qualities found in an optimal teacher and a student, and that the teacher's approach should change based on the student's age, as every age group has its own pros and cons.
Last but not least I reviewed names of levels given to English learners. I was familiar with them before I read the text, however, in my opinion, repetition is always useful.
