This unit is about tests and examinations. The one thing I knew nothing about prior to this unit was all the different kinds of external examinations for English learners. Of course, also what each examination specialized in as well. One smaller piece of information I learned was that a placement test and a progress test are two different kinds of tests. I always thought they were synonymous for the same type of examination.
