In this lesson, I learned troubleshooting. Common problem situations, first lessons in each new teaching position a teacher will be faced with meeting a number of new classes for the first time. New group, the students don't know each other and some work will be needed to establish rapport between the class members. Existing group, the students are already likely to know and be comfortable with each other and familiar with EFL teaching. Warmers, they are usually short, fun, communicative activities designed to get student motivated and using English. Different levels, one of the biggest problems that teachers face is a group where the student are varying levels. There are a number of ways that the teacher can deal with this, use different materials, same materials different tasks, don't do anything, pair stronger students with weaker ones. Large classes, it can present the teacher with a number of problems from trying to involve all pupils equally to classroom control. Use worksheets, pair or group work, clarity, choral repetition, dynamics. Use of native language, make sure the activities you use are at an appropriate level and that the students have the necessary language to cope. Make sure your explanations are clear to all class members. Encourage the use of English where appropriate. Only respond to English. Constantly remind the students. Reluctant students, use plenty of pair work, use controlled practice, use role-play, use tape recorder. Difficulties with listening texts.
