The content of this unit focused on how to effectively use course books and authentic and created materials to supplement ESL learning. This was my first in-depth look into proper textbook and lesson materials usage for ESL students. I found it very useful to learn different tactics to make the most out of a course book. I especially appreciated the clear-cut method the unit explained (Omit-Replace-Supplement-Adapt) as well as the examples of lesson materials.
