When I watched the first video, I felt surprised. I didn't read the instruction first, so I didn't know that was a bad example. So I thought how it could be like that. I felt confused. The teacher said "modal auxiliary verb" many times without explaining the term, but he even asked students to give examples. Students were freaked out.
Then when I watched the second video, I could see that the teacher was much more enthusiastic towards teaching and he used games to engage students. Students were apparently happier and more willing to take part.
So I think teachers' attitude is really important. And we should also use something which students are already familiar with (e.g. animals) to engage them and start the class so that students will feel it easy to learn and can get more confidence.
